Lawan warned me that the Nightrunners that tried to take the VNC Tower several years ago, which resulted in the deaths of most of them. I agreed to talk to Frank and learn more about that fateful mission.

Go to the other tower.
I descended the elevator shaft to the recording studio. From there I made my way to the basement where the power control panel was located.

Objective icon.png
Go to the power distribution room.
I made my way through corridors full of infected and found Leon. He was badly injured when I found him. He asked me to give his wife a farewell letter. I agreed.

Objective icon.png
Restore the power.
The other Peacekeeper had turned and attacked me as I entered the control room. I defeated him and tried to restore power... but a short circuit blew the fuses. Finally, I managed to fix it and contacted Rowe.

Wait with the squad until Matt arrives.
We rested while waiting for Matt to arrive. I had the opportunity to get to know the Peacekeepers a bit better.

Talk to Matt.
The elevators took us halfway up and stopped. We tried to continue the mission on foot, but the infected appeared and massacred the entire unit. I would have died, too, if it hadn't been for Rowe.

Check for survivors.
I was cut off from everyone and completely alone.

Objective icon.png
Kill the Infected.

Find Rowe and get the transmitter.
Rowe was still alive when I found him. Before he died, he gave me the transmitter.

Find a way out.
I contacted Lawan and asked for help. She was pissed at me for getting into trouble, but she immediately went to get Frank.

Objective icon.png
Survive until Lawan finds Frank.
More Infected attacked while I waited to hear from Frank. I was sure I was done for when a strange fury took hold of me! I tore my enemies to pieces until I passed out.

Objective icon.png
Find the Nightrunner equipment.
At first, Frank didn't know how to help. Then, he remembered that some equipment had been abandoned during their failed mission. I just had to find it.

Objective icon.png
Use the grappling hook to get out of the room.
The device I found consisted of a rope launcher and a solid metal hook. Frank explained how to use it to make climbing easier and reach inaccessible places.

Objective icon.png
Reach the top of the VNC Tower.
The climb was getting more and more dangerous. On the final stretch, it started to rain and all surfaces became slippery. Still, I finally reached the antenna.

Objective icon.png
Get to the roof.
With the help of the grappling hook, I made it to the roof of a neighboring building. Frank tried to convince me to quit the mission, but all I wanted was to finish the job.

Objective icon.png
Find a way back to the main building.
I used the construction crane to make my way back to the VNC Tower.

Objective icon.png
Turn on the transmitter and mount the device.
