Cemal Sabris
Cemal Sabris is a character mentioned in Dying Light.
Biography
Early life
She was a resident of the Old Town district of Harran. Prior to the outbreak, she lived in an apartment on Dolma Street but had disappeared in the middle of the night. Arka Sirin thought Cemal had left due to the problem of putrefying rat corpses in the apartment walls. The truth, however, is that she was one of Umar's murdered victims and was likely cannibalized.
Events of Dying Light
A letter to Samir Yasa, the building's superintendent, from resident Arka Sirin may be found during the Chasing Past side quest. In the letter, she complains of the stench she believes is caused by the rat corpses and expresses her belief that Sabris moved out of the building because of the smell. It is likely that the true cause of the smell and Cemal's disappearance is Umar the cannibal's activities in the basement.
