Holy Year Tunnel

"There are loads of infected in the old railroad facilities. In this abandoned reload depot, in the darkness of a sewer connected through the drain holes, they established a nest and started to evolve. Who knows what kind of sick mutations will develop, if this place will not be cleansed in time? These hanging containers look like they could be useful to close the drain holes." Quest description

Holy Year Tunnel is a quarantine zone challenge available in Dying Light's downloadable content packCuisine & Cargo. It is located in the Slums. The entrance is located at the end of the train tracks headed westward.

Walkthrough

The tunnel is full of biters and virals, the latter of which will continue to show up unless their entrances are blocked. It is advised to acquire the Camouflage skill before doing this zone. There are two entrances for the virals, namely two manholes. They can be sealed by dropping the containers hanging above them. Climb atop the hanging containers and use the switch to drop them down and block the manholes. Kill the remaining virals and biters to clear the nest.

The eastern manhole, the one furthest away from the entrance, has a green container with a blue door next to it. The door is locked with a hard lock, but can be opened. Inside are three hard-locked GRE chests. Two other hard-locked GRE chests are located in the northwestern section of the quarantine zone.

Notes

• There is also a silver chest located in the back-most cargo container on the second-from-left train track. However, while it is possible to interact with it at first, upon doing so produces no result, and the chest cannot be interacted with again. As of current, there is no known way to open this silver chest.
