Parkour Challenges are points of interest in Dying Light 2 Stay Human.

Summary

Parkour challenges are points of interest located throughout the game. As the name implies, they are timed parkour challenges that reward the player with medals going from Bronze, Silver, Gold and lastly Platinum(With a couple exceptions) awarded based on your completion time, the faster the completion time the better the medal. Each medal gives the player a certain amount of either Agility Points or Legend Points, depending if they have unlocked Legend Levels or not, with bronze giving the least and platinum the most, increasing even more if you complete them at night and further more if you have gear that gives bonus xp. The system is accumulative, meaning that if you get gold medal first try, you will get the points from the silver and bronze medal too. It is important to note that the medal points can be awarded only once. So if you get that gold medal, you will not be able to receive anymore points from getting gold, silver or bronze medals again.

Once discovered, they can easily be identified on the map by their icon A shoe with what looks to be blaze coming out of it and be attempted at any time, thought a few will need to be played at night, being given the option to make it night without having to go to a safe zone and fast forward to night.

Tips

  • It is recommended to attempt the parkour challenges at night due to the fact that they give double their xp reward.
  • Using gear that increases parkour xp will increas the agility or Legend Points depending if you unlocked them or not.
  • The Nightrunner tools will make the parkour challenges a lot easier depending on their usage
  • Survivor districts can make the parkour challenges easier with the traversal tools they provide

Difficulty

The parkour challenges are broken down into 3 difficulties: Easy, Medium and Hard. They are based on how hard it is to get the platinum medal and whether it needs a lot of high level skills, night runner tools and survivor districts. Do note that survivor districts and their rewards can be used to lower the difficulty of certain parkour challenges and are preferred when it comes to achieving fast times.
