Samir Yasa is a character mentioned in Dying Light.
Biography
Early life
He was a resident of the Old Town district of Harran. Prior to the outbreak, he was the superintendent of an apartment building on Dolma Street and resided within Unit 4.
Events of Dying Light
When Crane finds Samir's apartment during the Chasing Past side quest a letter from one of his residents, Arka Sirin, may be found tucked into the doorframe of his flat. Arka complains about the putrefying rat corpses and that a resident, Cemal, already left because of it. The inside of the apartment is ransacked, and the keys to the basement on the dresser. It is likely that Samir was killed by Umar and cannibalized.
