Shadow of the Nightrunners is one of pieces of graffiti found in Dying Light 2.

Nightrunners were a highly skilled group of military specialists, trained to work in the dark.

Frank Marwey was the first man whose body tolerated Inhibitors and he became the first Nightrunner; later their leader. His missions all had one goal in mind: to help the people of the city. When the revolution broke out, he and his Nightrunners sided with the citizens and played a part in the victory over the army.

Frank then build the Fish Eye Canteen, which became a symbol of new life in the city and a neutral place any faction could meet in safety--so long they didn't start any trouble. In the end, the Fish Eye became a symbol for the ultimate decline of the Nightrunners.
