X13 is the twenty-second Story Quest and the final quest in Dying Light 2 Stay Human.

Objectives

Defeat the Renegades.

On my way to X13, I ran into a powerful Renegade squad. But they weren't powerful enough to stop me.

Talk to Matt.

After defeating the Renegades I went to look for Matt. He was wounded - it didn't look well, but there was little I could do. I had to find the tunnel entrance.

Find the tunnel entrance.

Waltz was leaving a trail that I was able to "see." This enabled me to locate the tunnel entrance.

Enter the tunnel.

I made it into the tunnel. For a while, I had Waltz in my sights, but I lost him due to an attack of my surging infection. I woke up in an unfamiliar place and needed to catch up with him.

Get to X13.

I followed Waltz, eventually emerging outside the city walls. I finally made it to X13 itself, where Lawan joined me. Soon after, we were seperated by a barrier that closed between us.

Wait for Lawan.

Lawan disposed of the Renegades, but couldn't get the barrier open. I had to find a way to reach her.

Join Lawan.

I made it to Lawan, but then we ran into another group of Renegades.

Kill the Renegades.

I defeated the Renegades. How many more of them could there be here?!

Get back to Lawan.

Fortunately, Lawan was still in one piece. Barely. So I had to continue on my own.

Find Waltz.

It was here... It was here in X13 that Waltz was experimented on us. Everything bad that happened to us... happened here. Now was my chance to fix it. Waltz was here... and so was Mia! I was so close...

Chase Waltz.

Lawan discovered the missile hangar and I discovered the truth about Waltz and Mia. She was his daughter and he had been trying to cure her. To do so, he was willing to sacrifice the city.

Kill Waltz.

I was about to kill Waltz, but... Mia stopped me. Then... in a blinding series of events: the GRE key was destroyed, Mia collapsed and Lawan warned me that the hangar doors were opening and the missiles were preparing for launch. I had little time.

Stop the missiles from launching.

Rescue Mia.

It was over. I had finally saved Mia, which is why I came to Villedor to begin with. This was why I had become a Pilgrim. And now I was carrying her in my arms. No matter what Waltz had said, Mia was my sister and nothing would change that.
