A Dark Hollow is a loot source in Dying Light 2 Stay Human.
Description
Darkness brings out the Infected. During the day, they congregate in the gloomiest spots in the city. At night, they emerge to feast, leaving precious VALUABLES behind in their nests.

Summary
Apartment complexes shut off by the military as a quarantine area. They are full of valuables which can be sold to traders. They can be identified by the military walls on the ground or the military container on the roof, either of which can be used as an entrance. Teeming with infected during the day, but relatively quiet at night. They will usually contain some special infected, like a Goon, Howler, Demolisher, or Spitter. Virals and Volatiles are often present during the day as well. Some Dark Hollows feature no infected, but are instead occupied by bandits. Some Dark Hollows are also chemical areas, making it difficult to stay inside for long.

Chemical Dark Hollows
- In the eastern part of Trinity.
- In the northwestern part of Trinity, on the border with Houndfield.
- In the northwestern part of Quarry End.
- In the central part of Garrison, due east of GRE Anomaly C-A-55.
- In the northwestern part of Garrison.
