The Be The Zombie mode is a gamemode in which people can invade other's games as the Night Hunter, if the player has Night Hunter invasions enabled.

When one plays for the first time this gamemode, they will be put into a tutorial, after that they can select matchmaking to find a player to invade.

When someone invades a player's game, the survivor will get a warning that the Night Hunter is coming. Once the person playing as the Night Hunter finishes synchronizing with the survivor's game, both players will be placed at random places around the map and volatile's nest will spawn.

The Survivors objective is to find and destroy all the volatile's nest while the Night Hunter's objective is to kill the survivors ten times.
