Engine Part

Engine is a craftable item available in The Following DLC that is installed on the player's buggy.

This component improves the buggy's top speed statistic.

Crafting

The Engine part, like all other buggy components, is available in five levels as unlocked via the Mechanic upgrade in Driver Skills.

Level 1

• Requires: 3 Screws
• Top Speed: 40

Level 2

• Requires: 4 Screws & 1 Steel Tubing
• Top Speed: 54

Level 3

• Requires: 6 Screws, 1 Steel Tubing, & 1 Lubricants
• Top Speed: 66

Level 4

• Requires: 8 Screws, 2 Steel Tubing, & 2 Lubricants
• Top Speed: 78

Level 5

• Requires: 10 Screws, 2 Steel Tubing, 2 Lubricants, 1 Synthetic
• Top Speed: 90

Experimental Engine

The blueprint for the experimental part can be found inside a military container located to the east from Bilal's gas station, just off the shore and look for a series of small islands. To unlock the container you must have first picked up the military keycard from Jasir.
