Pheidippides is an achievement and trophy available for Dying Light.
Tactics
- Progressing through the Agility skill tree unlocks a variety of skills that allow better mobility
- The best ones for this achievement are Freerunning Adept, Freerunning Expert, and Ultimate Runner as they all allow longer periods of time for sprint
- Despite being horizontal movement, jumping across buildings does not count for this achievement
- Due to how little amount of buildings are present in The Countryside, this can result in players finishing this achievement there
- Otherwise due to absence of reliable Fast Travel in this game, one will eventually achieve this achievement simply by playing the game
Trivia
- The name of this achievement is based on the story of Pheidippides who invented Marathon running by delivering a message during a war. The distance here is the presumed distance that the titular character had to run
