THV Chemicals

THV Chemicals or THV Genmod are a manufactured gaseous chemical vaccine that was used by the military on the orders of Colonel William's to stop the infection from spreading by supposedly developing the civilians of Villedor an immunity to the mutated Harran virus (THV) through airborne means and also killing Infected DNA without harming the host. The plan failed when the chemicals instead killed every living thing whether animal or plants in the ground and turned most of the people within Villedor into hordes of infected. This event is known as Black Monday.

In 2036, years after the THV ravaged the world and turned most of the world's population into Infected, the chemicals continue to act as poisonous barriers to parts of Villedor and made the Infected more dangerous than those in the quarantined city of Harran. THV turned humans who were infected with the virus into new types of uncommon infected while also simultaneously turning the infected seen in the Quarantine into more dangerous variants which dominate the now apocalyptic wasteland.

Pre-Fall and The Fall

THV was supposedly created by the GRE along with the military to be an airborne vaccine that was to grant humanity an immunity to the rapidly spreading Harran virus after the outbreak in Geneva but Dr Katsumi, representative of the GRE, protested in this act as the vaccine only had a 83% success rate along with side effects that can possibly be harmful to humans. The chemicals were eventually allowed by Colonel Williams after to be spread throughout Villedor through military vehicles such as trucks or machines such as drones.

The plan failed when the chemicals killed everything in the ground such as plants, animals, and some people but the rest of the human population became monsters.

The chemicals killed a huge percentage of the living population whether animals and plants but people who came in contact with the the THV Genmod turned into Infected. The chemicals also made barriers of Villedor that divided Old Villedor and the Central Loop.
