The Candycutter is a craftable weapon that appears in Dying Light and is a part of the 10-in-12 program. It is a Sickle with the ability to inflict Medium Venom
Overview
As with any Toxic Weapon upgrades and sharp weapons, it is highly suggested to use this weapon on enemies incapable of carrying over its toxicity, enemies with low range, and enemies that are affected by toxicity. In other words, this is a particularly useful tool against humans with melee weapons. It can still be useful against Biters or Virals though occasionally they may wind up as elemental enemies so caution is advised.
It is highly suggested not to use this weapon against Gas Tanks as despite their hazmat suits, they can still become toxic elemental enemies. This paired with their natural resistance against sharp weapons means that another weapon would be a better choice
