First Blood is the first story quest in Dying Light 2 Stay Human: Bloody Ties.
Objectives
- Check out the tournament venue.
- At the Baptistry, a shady guy approached me. Hoping he might know the password, I talked to him. Instead, he robbed me and took off. I ran after him.
- Catch the thief! 4:25
- I caught up to the thief. He tried to talk his way out of trouble, but ended up giving my money back right before we got attacked by Infected.
- Find the thief's trail
- I chased the thief, but he was fast. By the time I made it to the roof, he was already gone. I found his trail and followed it.
- Follow the trail.
- Trying to get my money back, I tracked the thief along the rooftops. When I heard a sound in a nearby apartment, I knew he was close.
- Get inside the building.
- Kill the infected.
- The thief and I teamed up to kill the Infected. I hoped to hear more about the Baptistry and learn the password if I talked to him.
- Return to the Baptistry.
- The password worked and I got into the Baptistry. I had to look around to find out where I could sign up.
- Sign up.
- The thief's name turned out to be Ciro. We signed up for a tournament but couldn't use our own weapons. I took one from Tatsuo, the armorer. We were ready to fight.
- Win your first fight.
- Ciro and I won our first fight in the Baptistry. It was a victory worth celebrating.
- Protect Ciro.
- I successfully protected Ciro from getting knocked down.
- Celebrate with Ciro.
- After our win, Ciro was about to open up to me when Skullface attacked. He came to steal Tatsuo's shield, and when he got it, he decided to try it out on me.
- Hold out against the infected.
- We defeated the Infected and got the lights back on. I had to talk to Ciro and see if he was okay.
- Talk to Ciro.
- Ciro's father appeared, furious at his son. Turned out, he's the one who fixed the lights, not Ciro. Afterwards, Ciro said to meet him on the roof, where he'd tell me more about Skullface.
- Meet Ciro on the roof.
- On the roof, Ciro gave me some background on Skullface, on whom he wanted revenge for killing his brother in a tournament. To get in, we need to pass the tryouts.
