Potion of Power

Potions of Power are a type of equipment exclusive to the Hellraid expansion for Dying Light. Potions of Power were introduced in the third free update to Hellraid on 14th October 2021. They are used to greatly increase Kyle Crane's attack damage for a short amount of time. Unlike weapons, potions and equipment can't be purchased outside of Hellraid.

Usage

Like the Potion of Endurance, this is one of the most useful potions available in the Hellraid dungeon. When combined with the Potion of Endurance you can easily hack through a horde using the damage boost the potion uses. It is especially useful for dealing with bosses and other annoying enemies like shield skeletons or projectile enemies. When used, two sword icons appear next to the health bar at the top left of the screen and they will decrease over time after drinking the potion.

Notes

• Potions of Power are the only potions to not be a reskin of a base game consumable.
• You can't run while attempting to drink a Potion of Power, only walking or standing still.
• The easiest way to find Potions of Power is by looting the chests found across the dungeon.
• There's a small chance that enemies will have a Potion of Power on them when killed, though this is very rare.
• It's impossible to craft a Potion of Power.
