The Cult of the Sun, Sky and Wind #2 is a collectable titled note that can be found in Dying Light: The Following.

Location

Located in the Atilla's mansion Safe Zone. The note is located on the room to the north of Atilla's study, located close to the door.

Various rituals mentioning the trinity of Sun, Heaven and Wind made their way into the Children of the Sun's traditions. The greatest example is the burial custom which, to my surprise, has remained largely unaltered since at least the 12th century. Instead of burying their dead or burning their corpses, the Children left the dead out in the open so they could receive the mercy of Sun and Wind. In ceremonial robes, sometimes masked, the corpses waited for Heaven to take them. As the corpses decomposed, scavenging birds – seen as symbols of Heaven's mercy and as messengers of the Wind – took what belonged to them and returned the dead to the Sun.
