Overview

Anton Novak is a deceased Nightrunner. His recordings, Journal of a Nightrunner can be found across the city.

Recruitment and training as a Nightrunner

Cillian had recruited Anton because of his Peacekeeper medical files had shown some of the strongest metabolism which would make him more receptive to the use of inhibitor. Cillian also trained Anton and provided him with inhibitors that allowed Anton to be stronger and faster but at the same time increasingly reckless.

Cillian brought Anton to his first dark zone where they rescued a mother and child. When Anton decided they should venture deeper, against Cillian's advice, a viral almost picked him off had Cillian not stepped in to save him. After the rescue, Anton started having a hard time dealing with the Nightrunners, especially Frank, who admonished him for acting recklessly.

Death

Anton was not part of Frank's team who decided to scale the VNC Tower as Frank had decided that Anton was putting the of the group rest in danger. Despite being told to not join them, Anton decided to scale the tower to join the rest but eventually got trapped in a room with volatiles outside. He eventually regretted his decision and once he left the room a volatile attacks Anton killing him as his final screams are heard on the tape.
