Elias is a Renegade in Dying Light 2 Stay Human.

Biography

Before the Fall, Elias was a well respected and successful lawyer in Villedor who joined the Survivors post-outbreak. However, he disappeared suddenly with his absence being particularly noted. Elias returned one day, appearing to be strung-out on drugs, offering Survivors resources he had discovered. None of the people who went with him returned since this was a trap laid by former Survivor who had now joined the Renegades.

Elias became infamous and rose within the ranks but became a follower of Waltz, which aroused suspicion with the Colonel. He was given a new purpose with the promise that he would grow more powerful with every victim. Elias led a Renegade attack on Culvert Island and had taken many Survivors as hostages. Aiden Caldwell came to their rescue and killed Elias and his fellow Renegades.

Renegade 2: "Veiiiiinyyyy... too veiny. Too many muscles!"
Elias: "Quiet. What are you doing here?"
Aiden: "Let these people go."
Elias: "Don't think so PK puppet boy! You're gonna strangle on your strings! Curtain's coming down on all of you! But we ain't got no strings. He cut us free!"
Aiden: "What the fuck are you talking about?"
Elias: "The master freed our bodies and minds! We now see that each time we strike down an enemy, we absorb their strength. You can join us. Or you can meet your maker this very day."

Aiden: "(Why are you doing this?) Why have you broken the truce?"
Elias: "Power, my friend. In our unstrung state, we possess boundless strength. Infinite power! Waltz, our master, has gifted us this power. Jack Matt and the Puppetkeepers. Tangled and strangled, against us... power-LESS!!"
Aiden: "You're just a bunch of pathetic juicers."
Aiden: "(No way.) Thanks for the offer. But you're fucking nuts."
Elias: "You understand nothing. Get him."
