Revolution (event)

The Revolution was a significant event during the THV pandemic in Villedor that occurred after Black Monday.

Overview

Colonel Chris Williams's bombing of the city threw Villedor into chaos. Jack Matt formed the Peacekeepers and led them into battle with the aid of the Nightrunner commander, Frank Marwey, and plutocrat, Juan Rainer. The war was brutal and many civilians were killed under the Colonel's orders. With the military leader of Villedor, General Pratt, being incompetent, Williams ended the war by leading what loyal soldiers he had left to the dam where he set up his base. Matt could not defeat Williams since the Colonel now had the ability to destroy most of the city with toxic water.

Consequences of the Revolution

Major Matt established a reputation as the benevolent leader of the Peacekeepers who considered themselves the true rulers of the city. Juan formed the Suppliers and gained enough authority to challenge Matt and his Peacekeepers as the keeper of their supply chain. The Colonel formed the marauding Renegades and has effectively driven his people and the Peacekeepers into a tense truce with only some skirmishes between the two.
