Biography

Events of Dying Light

He is a survivor located at the Black Serpent Bazaar. He works as a contact for Ryan, a drug dealer working for crime lord Kadir "Rais" Suleiman.

When Kyle Crane travels to the junkyard to investigate the red smoke pouring out of the shack, he encounters Ryan, who provides Crane with an envelope and instructs him to deliver it to Aziz in the bazaar, initiating the Tunnel Vision quest. Upon meeting with Aziz, he asks Crane to retrieve phenyl-nitrate from the trunk of a nearby car his courier crashed the previous night in a nearby tunnel. Phenyl-nitrate, or nitric acid, has been known to be used as a storable oxidizer used as a rocket propellant. At the start of the Tunnel Vision quest, it is hinted that Aziz is using the phenyl-nitrate as a catalyst to produce methamphetamine. The phenyl-nitrate would dramatically increase the chemical reaction rate necessary to produce even large amounts of methamphetamine. This is, however, merely speculation and has not been verified.

Crane: "You Aziz? Ryan sent me."
Aziz: "What happened to Asam?"
Crane: "What do you think?"
Aziz: "You guys take a lot of chances out there. (Checks the list) Look, I've got everything but the Phenyl-Nitrate."
Crane: "Then you don't have what I need, and that's not going to cut it with Ryan."
Aziz: "What can I do? The courier wrecked his car in a tunnel last night. He's with Asam now, and your Phenyl-Nitrate is stuck in the trunk of his car. You want it, go get it, 'cause there's no more in Harran. That's the last Phenyl-Nitrate anyone's going to be seeing."
Crane: "What's his car look like?"
Aziz: "Hmmmm... White, I think. That's all I remember. White car. So you're really going to do this?"
Crane: "Ryan doesn't like to be disappointed."
Aziz: "You must be pretty tough. If you don't die doing this thing, I just might have an opportunity for you."
