Maalik is a character featured in Dying Light.
Biography
Events of Dying Light
He is one of the guards camped out in the courtyard next to the Tower, under the command of Spike. Maalik and others are responsible for protecting Doctor Imran Zere as he researches the virus in a mobile laboratory.
However, Maalik does not appear until the main story quest The Pit, in which the courtyard is attacked by bandits under the command of Kadir "Rais" Suleiman. The lab is destroyed and Zere is kidnapped, with most of the guards killed in the attack. When Kyle Crane arrives on the scene, a mortally wounded Maalik informs him of Zere's kidnapping before passing away.
