Ibrahim
Ibrahim is a character featured in Dying Light.
Biography
Events of Dying Light
He is a surivivor found within slums of Harran. He is found during a random encounter in which he will be located on the rooftop of a building or inside the Tower.
When approached by Kyle Crane, he reveals he had previously been imprisoned before the outbreak and shared a cell with Tahir, right-hand man of Kadir "Rais" Suleiman, for a number of years. He describes the brutality exhibited by Tahir behind bars, calling him a "beast in the shape of a man." He also recalls how a group of five men once attacked him while armed with a shank, but Tahir was able to disarm them and brutally killed them in retaliation. Some of the men were only able to be identified through dental records.
After this encounter, he disappears and his whereabouts and status are unknown.
Conversations
Ibrahim: "Crane. It is Crane, yes? Let me give you some friendly advice."
Crane: "Uh, sure. I don't think we've met."
Ibrahim: "My name is Ibrahim, but that is not important. What is important is that you may find yourself dealing with a man called Tahir."
Crane: "Yeah -- Rais's second-in-command. What about him?"
Ibrahim: "I was unfortunate enough to share a cell with Tahir for a number of years. The kinds of prisons we have here... much of the time, once you are locked up, you do not ever walk back out into the sunlight. But Tahir survived behind bars. More than that, he THRIVED. And he did so by unleashing all kind of brutality one sees among wild animals. Once a group of five men fashioned knives out of toothbrush handles and surrounded Tahir. They meant to overwhelm him and cut his throat. Tahir took two of their knives away. With a blade in each hand, he was like a bear, slashing and gouging and ripping. He damaged their bodies so badly they had to be identified by dental records."
Crane: "Jesus."
Ibrahim: "Rais is brilliant, and cruel, and twisted. But exercise just as much caution around Tahir as you would around his leader. He is a beast in the shape of a man."
